Fresh Paws Premium Wood Pellet Cat Litter

Smells great, doesn’t track, no horrible cat wee smell ever! No scraping and scrubbing the pongy residue at the bottom of the tray when changing litter. I just tip the old stuff out…pellets turn to damp sawdust at the bottom. Tap the tray and it’s all gone in the bin. Quick wipe with white vinegar and job done. Been using wood pellets for a couple of years now. Used all other types of litters for nearly 20 years and I wish I’d discovered this sooner. The only thing I always loathed about cat ownership was coming home from work and a cat wee smell in the air. A shoulder sagging moment. Well, that’s never ever happened with wood pellets. Too expensive for low quality! Pellets turn into dust the minute a cat pees, I found that I had to sieve dust at least twice a day to keep it fresh which is a lot of work and time consuming, so as a result you end up using more of it to top up litter tray which is costly. One of my cats didn’t take to it, she would do her business on the floor every time which is not pleasant! Back to Catsan hygiene. One star, wood pellets contained urine smell that’s about it.

Received my order 4 days late but that’s seller’s choice of courier fault not the sellers, when I got them the bags looked like they had been they had been in a cross country adventure and came out looking worse for wear. One bag had much less in than the other one, probably because it has a big hole at the top and had a thin sticky paper square barely holding on which had left a cat litter trail across the pavement from the van to my door. The other bag had had its own adventure but had been taped 2 corners since it had been throw the mill too, but had better first aid.
That said, my cat seems to like the litter, it’s pieces that I have left after delivery are a smaller size than his normal length but look like the won’t turn dusty. The litter is value for money, just the delivery let it down so can’t give 5*

Wanted to change from the environmentally damaging clay products to a sustainable litter. A friend told me about this so I thought I would give it a go. Ordered the 30ltr and it arrived in 2 days. Filled a separate tray with it to see what my cat would do when faced with a choice and it went straight to the Fresh Paws. Smells great and stays smelling great even after a weeks use. I’ve not had the usual mess around the tray or any litter stuck to my cats paws or fur. She’s a rag doll so this was a problem with other litters. Love this litter, so does Bagpuss. Would recommend to anyone. 5* and brilliant value.
