Having needed a TV for christmas after the old one gave up the ghost and no spare parts are ever available, I was unfortunate enough to select this TV to replace my 10 year old Samsung. What. A. Mistake.
There is nowhere were it tells you there is NO functionailty of iplayer/itv, etc unless you sign in with an AMA$ON account, these features are clearly advertised on the box as features but there is no clear disclaimer that you are required to sign in with a nag screen that never goes away if you dont to AMA$ON. The worst part of this is you are shown ADs. ADS. I’m being shown bloody ADs for soft drinks and other products! what the hell is wrong with this thing. I paid money for all of this and I’m being shown Ads? this is an utter scam.
Also the menus and guide is very slow and unresponsive to the point you can count, ONE…. TWO…. THREE…. FOUR…. FIVE….SIX….. SEVEN…… EIGHT….. NINE….. TEN….. ELEVEN….. TWELVE…… THIRTEEN……. oh its locked up lets go…

Quite happy with TV. Set it up in about 10 minutes (signing in to WiFi, apps etc) without referring to manual. TV self tuned to tv stations in matter of seconds. Voice control great if donโt know where something is. I already had a sound bar, so no issues with sound. Good price. Apps and account link up great. TVs have moved on since I bought my last one. However, I donโt like the stands. They are far apart so it no longer fits securely on my tv unit (see photo where had to add wood pieces as a temporary stopgap) and I am not entirely convinced on stability of them, however, so far they seem fine. A central support would mean the tv would fit any unit, but a minor gripe.

Item arrived just a day late. It is a very good set, replacing the other JVC tv which I had for five years with no problems. Set-up is simple, Alexa works fine . The tv guide can take a few seconds to load, but it really is not a problem. I think the 2 people who left negative feedback were just unlucky – both of them. Although one did receive a broken set, but that isn’t anything to do with how well the product works. I’m guessing maybe the other persons broadband speed is more to blame than the actual TV itself., for the slow loading speed.
One thing I’m not happy about is being charged full price by Curry’s who had the exact same product for sale discounted in the sale, but when I tried to order was told there was no delivery in my area, which is very strange considering the thousands of pounds worth of equipment which has been delivered here with absolutely no problem in the past….. So, TV itself is great….. however I would suggest that maybe A.O or some other outlet would…

My brother bought me this tv as a house warming present. Absolutely brilliant. I have read the negative reviews mentioning the feet not fitting properly and i just thought to myself….”i wonder if they noticed the L and R clearly visable on each foot? ” The picture quality is brilliant as is the sound quality. So simple to set up and if you have anywhere near decent broadband everything loads quickly and seamlessly. The fact Alexa is built in is a big plus for me as i can ask my echo show in the bedroom to switch the tv on in the living room before i am out of bed. Great all round tv, i personally have found no issues with this product at all. The only thing i would advise anyone purchasing this tv is to check for the L and R on the feet or i guess it might be a little wobbly and hard to screw in although i wouldn’t know for sure as i checked ๐ I would personally highly recommend this product. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask.
