Awful picture quality. Poor response from seller

What’s an incredible TV. Picture is perfect and exactly what I would want from 4K on a 50″.
If you are mounting this on your wall you will need to get M8 x 22mm VESA screws. The standard VESA screws don’t fit Samsung. Disappointing that Samsung doesn’t supply the screws with the TV.

I finally upgraded from my 15 year old 27inch Samsung to this beauty! The photo shows the difference!
I’m delighted with it so far. The picture quality is good, as is sound. It only took 10 minutes to set up. I’ve been watching Sky and Netflix so far.
The bezel is narrow and silver/grey which is smart.
You need M8 bolts to attach it to a stand or bracket.

Finally gone to 4K on a 65″ screen without blowing the bank! Or so I thoughtโฆ
Likes: 4K is wonderful! Great picture, dynamic backlighting really makes a huge difference.
Could do better: Only 2 HDMI inputs. (obviously designed for use with AV amplifier)
Dislikes: No analogue audio outputs, remote will not control volume of digital outputs.
The school dayโฆ
I had not realised, before it arrived, that these new ‘Smart TVs’ are really just displays, designed for partnering with a suitable AV amplifier/receiver/ surround processor to do all of the audio processing and video source selection. My old TV has analogue outputs for all the 5.1 channels (and 4 HDMI inputs as well as SCART, component and VGA), but this has no analogue audio outputs (not even a headphone jack) – only HDMI or optical (or bluetooth I guess) and only 2 HDMI inputs for video . So, I was dismayed that effectively I went from a full 800W surround set-up using my Rotel HiFi separates (with several video sources) – to tinny…

So I had a Panasonic 4k TV that was OK only had it for a year but was annoyed by the lack of Apps, had to buy a Now TV stick just to access the apps I wanted.
So ordered this TV today and not only does it have all the essential apps (Netflix, Now TV, Disney +) the picture is amazing and the sound is great (Paired with a bluetooth sound bar and it is even better)
If you want a great TV that will not break the bank I would 100% recommend this.

3 large silly looking sponsored app buttons on remote, keeps defaulting to being really dark, have to create an account with Samsung to use apps other than sponsored ones and even then they keep locking and you have to do a โsoft resetโ by holding the power button. The use your mobile as a remote feature on the SmartThings app is useful and means I donโt have to look at the big stupid sponsored app buttons. Overall great picture quality and value for money but just really annoying and glitchy – my 2016 Samsung TV is so much slicker.

Only thing i didnt like are the plastic stands which are crap basically. T V itself is brilliant pictue and easy to set up with internet etc. Would be 5 except for cheap looking base stands.
