I’m very pleased with my new tv/dvd player. I needed a decent sized smallish one for my bedroom. It fits nicely on the windowsill with its flat screen and rectangle bast.
Image quality and remote are good.
It’s great that it hooks up to Netflix & YouTube too.

I have read many too in-depth reviews that only serve to confuse, therefore I will try to be short and to the point.
This TV is great, actually its more than that, its magnificent and it only cost £149.99!
For that price I was a little bit sceptical it could do what it said. With no reviews to back it up, I went with the general idea that Sharp is a tried and tested brand. Other Sharp products have gained good reviews so I bought this little beauty… I am glad I did, its a very good choice.
24″ screen is perfect for small room or kitchen (where ours is) easy to set up and install (even for a Technophobe like me) ergonomic remote, crisp picture and clear sound. What more do you want, its a TV!

The picture quality and sound quality are reasonable, however this TV detunes itself approximately once daily, and loses many of the channels including BBC1. Sometimes it needs retuning more than once daily. We tried leaving it on standby overnight, but it made no difference.
The DVD player is fine, but using BBC I player or other apps it will only play for around 50 minutes before it reverts to TV again.
It switched itself on once after I had switched the set off. Too cheap quality?

Great TV, dropped a star due to WiFi issues.
Great sound and picture, the WiFi signal in the room it’s in is good on a speed test but this TV struggles to play BBCi Player (lots of buffering and stop start), it streams Netflix well but if you put the picture on Dynamic it pixelates whilst streaming – this is rectified by using the standard picture set up or movie. It plays YouTube without issue and Prime, just a little slow on loading, so really cannot complain especially for the price. The built in DVD is easily accessible, control is easy to use and initial set up was very easy and straight forward (it found our 2G network straight away but won’t discover the 5G network on our router). Because there is no Bluetooth to connect wireless headphones I brought a Bluetooth adapter which just plugs into the audio and powers from the USB for £20 so problem solved. We also mounted the TV on the wall, it’s nice and light with a slim profile so looks great.
All in all it’s a great Smart TV…

Brilliant, wanted a smart tv with Netflicts and Amazon video etc but also one with scart connection for my DVD play ( I know this has a player but I have a multi regional DVD player) and HDMI connection for sky. So easy to set up I was as amazed and I now realise how poor my previous bedroom tv had got. Clear/crisp picture, sound excellent, easy to use and the white colouring blends in with my light walls and makes the picture look bigger. Great price and next day delivery even in this period of lock down – what is not to like and would recommend particularly if you want a tv with the benefits of Netflicts and apps, together with connections for your existing technology.

Item could not connect to the Internet via the router. Very disappointed with (A). the seller’s customer services and (B) the total lack of support from the Sharp help line. Sharp’s advisor was belligerent and condescending suggesting that the TV should be placed adjacent to the router, otherwise it would not work. I had a professional TV installer come to ensure that I had followed the guidelines. He also phoned Sharp. All to no avail. The set would not connect to the Internet.
The seller’s guidance for returning was also a sham. The barcode could not be read at Matalan, yet it was listed as the returns depot. Having spent 45 minutes trying to contact the seller by phone to arrange the return I was not best pleased having to take time off from work because DPD had not been given the correct instructions for collection. 5 days later I still have not received my refund. For major items, shop close to home to avoid stress and inconvenience.

I really liked the image, sound, etc but after a few days the screen started to show fuzzy blotches of pixels for no reason, sporadically either when viewing channels or internet programmes. I phoned Sharp and they said it was a problem with my aerial and WiFi. I put my old TV back on the same channels and programmes immediately after experiencing the problems with this TV and got perfect images. The tv could have been damaged in delivery- the couriers threw it on the floor at arrival. I bought this TV twice. The first time it was broken in transit, so I returned it without trying it. The second TB had the pixels blotches. I’m afraid this TV is too cheap to be true! In any case, the package is not strong enough for the handling and the polystyrene inside was broken both times I got the TVs

The sound and picture are excellent, which is what you want from a TV. It connected to my wifi very easily even though my router is in another room. The smart apps etc are very good and I connected to prime and Netflix no problem.
I couldn’t give it 5 stars as the stand is a bit awkward to put together, surely the screw holes could be manufactured better, the remote does not quite sit right in your palm, though you get used to it. I have had easier TV’s to navigate around and the subtitle button is ineffective so they have to be set on/off in settings. I contacted Sharp about this and it is a known glitch they are trying to sort.
I haven’t tried the DVD yet so cannot comment.
We use this TV in our kitchen where we watch most of our TV and it is the best I have had at this size.
I definitely recommend the TV just on picture and sound quality, far outweighs the small defects I have mentioned.
