Before i write what think about this think some reviewers, review this phone and they don’t know how to even work it,then give it a bad review.
Now what i think.
Screen, this 4K screen is without doubt the best on a phone at this present time and watching 4K in21.9 is truly breathtaking for a phone screen.
Fingerprint scanner hear so much about this being not that accurate and having to keep registering for it to work,ive registered two fingerprints one from each hand,one for when you pick up with one hand and register with the fore finger on your other hand,the other when i pick up with the left hand and register with the fore finger as it naturally holds the phone and I’ve had this phone three weeks now and its never missed one register.
Snapdragon 865 chipset on this is probably the fastest at loading than any other phone out now.
Battery could be better,but i had no problems with getting through a day and still juice left after a solid six hours screen use.
Sound,this is where Sony…

I have been a Sony user over the last years, but have been known to be quite unfaithful, in the sense that I have tried both Samsung and Huawei flagship phones. This is the best phone I have owned so far. As simple as that. Don’t get misguided by the numerous reviews alone, as most users tend to use phones without going to the full extent of their capabilities. Camera :great. Screen size and tech : probably the best around. 21/9 ratio much more comfy for a large phone. Fingerprint scanner much better located than on the screen and working perfectly. All in all a perfect phone!
Looking forward to the xperia 5ii phone, as i believe that a 6.1 inch phone is ideal for everyday use.

Love the quality of the phone. Doesn’t come with unnecessary bloatware. Fits nicely in the hands and has a beautiful display.
Lacks face recognition hardware, however more than makes up with it with a perfectly placed fingerprint sensor which just falls straight into your hands.

HIGHLIGHTS:
==========
• I spent the first week really hating this phone.
• Now that I’m more accustomed to it, it’s not as bad as I initially thought.
• Playback of 4K video in 21:9 aspect ratio is SUBLIME! However, 1080p/720p content looks awful — at least on YouTube.
• After a month or so… I now love this phone .. for consuming content. Netflix is amazing!
WATCHING VIDEO
=============
🏆 Proper 4K content looks SENSATIONAL—breathtaking 😍—but so little content is _actual_ 4K.
📺 When I watch other YouTube videos, for example 1080p or 720p, the picture looks wrong.. noisy [UPDATE 1 Oct 20: this was a temporary problem! I’ve since watched a lot of sub 720p content on Netflix and it looks SUPERB..]
▪️It transpires that 21:9 (tall and thin) is FANTASTIC for consuming content – like watching “Ratched” on Netflix.
FINGERPRINT SENSOR IS AWFUL
======================
👆🏽My iPhone 7 Plus (which is now 4 years old!) unlocks 99% of the time (with my fingerprint), no matter how I hold the phone. I don’t…
