I do love this watch, nice clear dial, fabric strap is a bit on the short side so I may look to replace this in the future, the indiglo is such a good light, and I love the tick. I have downgraded from 5 stars because the packaging was so rubbish – both the courier and I were surprised the watch had not fallen out of the amazon package, it was open at both ends. The timex package was rubbish too – I had to destroy it to get the watch out. However the watch was intact and quite gorgeous looking.

Love this watch. Itโs got quite a big face, which I personally like but might not be to everyoneโs taste, but this plus the clarity of the numerals make it so easy to read at a glance, and the cream colour is very stylish. I also really like the fact you can change the straps easily and found much cheaper strap options on Etsy (ยฃ6 rather than the ยฃ15 per strap which Timex charges). I read reviews saying how noisy the tick is – there is a distinctive tick (if you hold it up to your ear) but hardly keeps me awake at night. I was expecting something far more noise intrusive and my experience is definitely not that.

Great everyday watch. Cheap enough that Iโm not worried about it scratching or getting damaged, but surprisingly tough – no scratches on the glass after a good 4/5 months. NATO strap it comes with is very good quality and a good thickness, and due to the nature of the strap itโs easy to replace it with a different colour if you want to match with what youโre wearing. The light up face upon pushing the crown in is a fantastic feature thatโs hidden so well. Just a classic, simple looking watch.

I’ve had many Timex watches since I was young, as they have always proven to be reliable, hard wearing and have excellent battery life. And I expect this watch to also live up to this reputation.
Yes, the mechanism is noisy – but that’s what Timex are known for. So I just put it in a drawer at night.
This is wrongly titled a ‘women’s watch’, as at 38mm it fits my man arms just fine. Yes, there is a larger version of the Weekender, but I particularly like the deeper watch face design (it’s flat on the larger model).
The only thing about this particular version that I do not like is the leather strap (very thin leather and I don’t like the colour). So I will swap that out at some point. And perhaps the flat chrome hands on a black face does sometimes need a few twists of the arm to read the time (you can’t see them if they reflect something dark).

I love this watch so much. For the low price, you can instantly feel the difference in quality compared to other affordable watches. Itโs kept perfect time so far. The face has a traditional look, with the off-white lending it a slightly vintage look. Iโm also glad it isnโt huge, as I have quite slim wrists and some watches just look far too big on me.
Itโs easy to read, and the Indiglo light works perfectly in the dark – itโs also easy to operate, with a light push of the button. The canvas strap makes it a great everyday watch, but you could easily switch it out for a smarter strap and dress it up a bit for more formal outfits.

This is a nice, sporty-looking watch. The backlight was a bonus, and though I don’t wear my watch in the dark as a rule I’ll come clean – I like playing with it. The watch is easy to read, and has useful 24-hour markings on the dial – a handy feature for me as I live in a country where they use the 24 hour clock a lot, and it’s easy to get confused. It’s very quiet. Oh – I have a small wrist, I guess, as the strap is a bit long but I just tuck it back through the first loop and it stays put, no problem. There are plenty of holes in the strap so you’ll be able to adjust it to fit. Very pleased.

Good watch BUT *really loud*.
Much louder than my old automatic, which I thought was pretty loud.
Like, loud enough you have to keep it in a drawer on the other side of the room at night, or that people will notice it in meetings. Had room clocks that are quieter!
Otherwise, lovely easy to read face, light is very good, and accurate time, good look. Only thing besides the noise which lets it down is the stock strap, it’s flimsy and cheap. Easily replaced though, as it’s a pull-through type, I swapped it out for a sturdier NATO one.

I got this to use temporarily each time my normal watch disappears off to Tag for servicing/batteries/resealing so have only needed to wear it for a few weeks so far. If it were a waterproof watch then I would happily wear it all the time; it is comfortable and has a wonderful easy-to-read face. The khaki/olive strap is a really lovely neutral/natural colour that goes with most casual clothing. If you trust the iPhone to be accurate then the watch has lost a minute so far however time accuracy doesn’t matter to me too much. I like the indigo feature although haven’t ever used it as I habitually press my phone when I need the time after dark. The only down side is perhaps the size: I love it as it makes the face so easy to read however I have a relatively large wrist for a woman and the watch is only just the right side of looking too big on me. The watch does-up on the 3rd strap hole from the face and this means that the end of the strap has to be doubled-back into the restraint…
