TV looks good and seems to operate well, however you cannot get full use because there is no instruction manual available for it yet, been onto Toshiba and they admit manual not yet available.
Difficult to beleive in this day and age you can get a TV with no instructions

The screen resolution really is not great and if you are thinking of using this as a monitor, dont. AT BEST a kitchen TV and thats pushing it. BBCi player has intermittent sound. Have gone back to using the dot alexa as this one sometimes works. Dont be sold on the gadgets, but more importanlty picture quality is poor.

I bought this as a bedroom smart TV. On set-up, it would not connect wirelessly to the WiFi network. I tried different devices in the same location & they all connected effortlessly. The TV is now connected via Ethernet through a BT mini connector. However, when watching catch up TV there is constant buffering & break up of sound. This happens on iPlayer, ITV Hub, Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. As a TV it is fine. As a smart TV it is very poor, I donโt recommend it & despite claims, it does not accept NowTV. The remote is large, yes, but I quite like that as one doesnโt need tiny fingers to operate the buttons. The TV guide is a bit clunky. The operating manual can be accessed through the โHomeโ button on screen. Toshiba need to issue a software update to resolve these issues. The market for 24โ smart TVs is huge & yet product offerings are limited – sort it out! I wish I had bought the LG now for another 20 quid. I have now arranged to return this TV – when watching catch up &…

This tv sounds great in the marketing brochure, but in reality is a very poor television set. I bought it to use as a smart tv, and for the Alexa input. I have Alexa dotโs throughout my house and they work perfectly. Alexa on this tv is nowhere near the same, it is very slow and lags, you can turn it on with your voice but canโt turn it off, the Freeview player wouldnโt work, the picture quality is poor (but a full HD or 4K tv with a fire stick instead), moving through the Netflix app was crazy slow, oh and it took me about 10 attempts to get it to connect to wifi. Also the App Store doesnโt include bbc or channel 4 or any other traditional apps you may expect. I re-boxed and returned it the same night. Canโt believe a 2020 model tv is so poor.

Mostly good. The TV looks OK and is nice and compact with a half decent bezel, picture quality is good and the apps for Freeview, Netflix and amazon Prime work OK. Alexa woks fine so far but still getting to grips with asking it to control the TV. The sound is OK considering its a small unit but it was intended to work with a set of Bluetooth headphones, however there is no sound coming from them after they are paired with the TV (green light on TV Bluetooth menu etc) . The headphones are running the latest Bluetooth so there shouldn’t be a problem and they work fine with mobile phones etc… Just no noise from the TV. Will contact Toshiba support for advice.
Update. July 6th. Toshiba supplied an update for the TV and it now works fine !

**Update March 21**. Having issues with the TV randomly resetting itself. Annoying when this happens when you have the sleep timer set as it resets it so you wake up in the early hours with it still on!! Very little info/help online about this model in general. In hindsight I may have picked a different make or model but we had a Toshiba for our main TV for years with no issues.

I had a lot of trouble trying to connect this to the wifi as it refused to connect to my wireless router on 2.4Ghz (the recommended) or 5Ghz on any channel or setting. I eventually got it to connect via an old wireless range extender I had lying around in a drawer. It’s a bit overkill but at least it’s finally online, and the tv services like prime & iplayer were very simple to get set up.
The tv is great as a bedroom tv (the reason it was bought for) but I wouldn’t want it as a main tv. Main niggles I have with it are:
1) There’s no channel preview while the tv guide is up, it even cuts off the sound off…

First impressions, This was purchased of the Kitchen, very easy to set up, good picture and sound,
all seems to be working well, wireless wifi was especially easy to set up, oh and Alexa (it’s a gimmick, i know) works well. I would recommended
